Hairstyles for Indian Weddings / Festivals

For the past few days, I was thinking about what hairstyle i should have, when i wear a saree. I am a person who rarely wears a saree to any function be it an engagement or a wedding . But i am planning to wear a saree to my favorite cousin sisters wedding (ok..she hasn't found her guy yet...but we can plan our saree & hairstyle beforehand right). 

I am a person who hates leaving her hair open. I dont know why but I like to see it on others but not mine. I am a big fan of buns & updos.....But i dont know whether it suits me or not. So i have been googling for hairstyles and found some styles that i liked. 

The hairstyles that i liked are the ones of Deepika Padukone & Bipasha Basu . 

1) Deepika Padukone : She is always spotted with the perfect poof on top of her head. The below pic is from her promotion for Chennai Express in Chennai. Loved the jasmine around the bun:):)

2) DP's hairstyle @ the promotion for Ram Leela.

3) DP's hairstyle in Ram leela.....again the perfect hair poof... uff!!uff!!

4) DP's Hairstyle for Comedy Nights with Kapil.

5) Bipasha Basu: The bong beauty looks ravishing in that red bindi and hairstyle..

I am still searching for a good hairstyle that will stay put in the hot & humid climate in my place. So if i get more pics , i will share them here. Till then take care & stay beautiful...

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

Dear Desperate,

First, keep in mind that Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter the command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html, download Tears 6.2 and be sure to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If those applications work as designed Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, please remember that overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (It runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0-program. This is an unsupported application and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Celebrity n' Style - Deepika Padukone

So this is the first post in the Celebrity n' Style category ... 

Who can forget d dimpled beauty from Om Shanti Om!!! She is a tall beauty & knows how to look fab always....I dont know whether i will ever call her a good actress but i m  sure i will call her a Diva. A Chic Diva. Her simple & effortless style is something to look for. Her fashion style is bold, chic &unique. Here are some pics of her's that i like.....:):)

I m a huge fan of her loooooooooong legs !!!!!!! She is 5 ' 9" (175 cm).

Her height makes maxi dresses look flattering on her.....

She has been featured on the cover of many magazines . I loved her retro look on Filmfare's cover.( first from left)

I was really tempted to buy Garnier's BB cream after seeing Deepika in the ad :):) Luv her Hairstyle!!!

She looks chic in shorts , in a shirt dress & in a blue jumpsuit

 Deepika looks desi  in saree & anarkali ....

I like her mint color top & red floral print wide leg trouser that she wears in the movie Cocktail.

Very flattering on her.....

Currently Watch'n Hindi Serials

I love hindi serials. For a long time the only hindi channel we had was Colors & so we (my amma, my 2 sisters & me ) used to watch Colors serials. Our favorites are Balika Vadhu & Uttaran. We used to watch almost all the serials that aired on Colors. Since we dint have Star Plus, my youngest sister & I watched IPKKND episodes on youtube .We got the reliance big tv this year, so we now have Star Plus, Sony, Zee Tv & Colors....So i started watching some new serials from each channel. And they are :

1) SARASWATICHANDRA - on Star Plus (Monday to Friday 7.30 pm IST )

The story is based on a Gujrathi novel with the same name.  Coming from Sanjay Leela Bhansali  , this serial has a bollywood touch to it. I like the background score. This serial has loads of drama & spice....One more serial with a six pack hero!!!!!!

2) QUBOOL HAI - on Zee Tv (Monday to Friday 9.30 pm IST )

Yeah the Mr Khan & Miss Farooqi serial :):)
I started watching this because it had Karan Singh Grover <3<3  But now i like the serial for its storyline . Its a romantic comedy serial . And hence a must watch for me .:):)

3) AMITA KA AMIT - on Sony ( Monday to Friday 8.30 pm IST )

I m kinda of hooked to this serial . I like the fresh casting. The story revolves around Amita who is slightly on the healthy side , who loves to eat  & talk a lot.

So these are the serials that i am hooked to now.....:):)

A New Beginning.....

Hello & Welcome to my blog.
